SGS2 + CM9: Apex Launcher

Decided to give Apex Launcher a try, after months of sticking Trebuchet (default in CM9). Liking it so far. It's smooth, and offers plenty of neat features, such as "Lock desktop". I sometimes move stuff around unintentionally. Still yet to explore it fully. Also, this voting poll here helped me in choosing between Apex and Nova :P

SGS2 + CM9: Google Calendar from Google Play Store

Read more here. For the following screenshots, ICS/CM9 is on the left and the Google Calendar app from Play Store would be on the right.

Events that span over a couple of days should be collapsed.

Notice the difference in size. Would it matter?

Different icons.

Spot the difference?

SGS2 + CM9: Empty notification drawer/tray

Running nightly build 20120930, but I recall experiencing this every now and then in the past.

Latest and Greatest: Google Play Store 3.9.16 APK Download

Got the news from this link.

From 3.8.17 to 3.9.16 (what happened to the versions in between?)

There's now the option to remove uninstalled apps from this list.

Long press to trigger multiple selection

Are you really, really sure?

That's a lot of uninstalled applications..

SGS2 + CM9: HSPA+ Support

This feature was introduced in the 20120903 nightly (cm-9-20120903-NIGHTLY-galaxys2.zip). Since flashing 9.1.0, I'd only upgraded to 20120930. Now I know what "SystemUI: HSPA+ Support (android_frameworks_base)" means..

Notice the H+ beside the signal bar, still white in colour.

Now it's cyan.

HSPAP: 15 = H+ (Oh, I see....)
